Our long time sold high runner – the PTT-8. The Push-To-Talk button can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as industrial areas, fire fighters, police and hazardous areas. The PTT-8 can be used as inline button. The dynamic version is designed for use with dynamic microphones, such as normally used at a Peltor ComTac XPI or CH3 and CH5 headsets.
The big Push-To-Talk button is easy to use and operate, even in stressful situations it can be operated. The additional protective ring helps to prevent unforced pressing of the button. The Push-To-Talk button is also available in a highly visible yellow colour produced from phosphorescent material.
The housing is a impact resistant and glass fibre reinforced synthetic material withstanding nearly all situations. It is dust protected and protected against splash water. On the backside you can find a clothing clip. The clothing clip is 180° turnable.
The button gives tactile feedback when pressed, bringing you safety in your daily operation. If this is not desired, due to the sound, it can be offered in a silent version. Inside the PTT-8 is our electronical intelligence adjusted to every device to be connected to. It can be easily adjusted to digital and analogue radios, GSM-R or PoC applications.
