IFATCA Award
Imtradex wins the IFATCA Technology Award for the best Air Traffic Controller Product of the Year. The winner of this award was the AirTalk 3000 XD Flex for its, ergonomic, lightweight construction and High Performance Acoustic.
The new Aurelis
In cooperation with Motorola, a new design of the Aurelis, with two send buttons, Nexus connector socket for fire service applications was created.
Also in 2014, the FireTal EN443 was approved.
Development the BlueTalk
Imtradex developed the BlueTalk this year. An interface between a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and an industrial headset.
Russian air traffic control
Imtradex sign contract with air traffic control in Russia, to deliver the new AirTalk Headsets to the VCS.
Largest single order
The today largest single order of the Aurelis series, for a GSM-R Railway project in the Baltic States, more than 5.000 units. The special requirements for the product in this case, were the common voice and data controls.
A new move
Due to the continuous growth of the company, the new business premises were moved to Daimlerstrasse in Dreieich in February 2009.
From there, administration, distribution and production were once again united under one roof.
Aurelis-Series
Imtradex begins development of the Aurelis series. This product series is specifically designed for the extended functional capabilities of digital radios and is intended to make other data applications available to the user, in addition to speech, via the handheld microphone.
Tetra MoU
Imtradex becomes a member of the Tetra MoU association.
Development of the widest range of digital radio headsets products and sale of more than 10.000 tetra products in the second half of the year.
AirTalk NBS
Imtradex presents the first air traffic controller headset (AirTalk NBS) with „open-ear-gain technology“ on the ATC exhibition in Maastricht.
OnGuard Series
Development of the OnGuard series for the first digital radios and subsequent equipment for the European Central bank in Frankfurt.
Presentation of the XS /XD series
The XS and XS lightweight series for the air traffic control area as well as call center and office telephony were presented.
The development objective was achieved with maximum wearing comfort and the highest technical reliability for the user.
Presentation of the NB2000
In year 2000, the imtradex NB 2000 was introduced.
A lightweight neckband headset, ideal for use as a helmet-independent headset and also in conjunction with police helmets.
Expansion of business premises
In addition to the existing office building, another storage and production facility was opened and put into operation this year.

Founding of Imtratel Communications Vertriebs GmbH to focus on the sale of telephony headset in the business-to-business area.
Development of the PTT-8
Development and production of the push-to-talk button of synthetic material for security-relevant police and fire-fighting applications.
The send button PTT-8, an ergonomic shaped, robust fibreglass-reinforced Durethan send button, was developed and put into distribution.
